Synchronicity is funny. I needed the first name of mathematician/scientist C.J. Everett, co-author of the initial proposal for Project Orion. To that end I fed Google "Ulam Everett" and discovered that as well as the papers they wrote there was another hit: in the movie Quest for Fire the main ape-man was from the Ulam tribe and was played by actor Everett McGill.

Then the writers of this show called Reality continued the ape-man theme by making C.J. Everett's name "Cornelius"...
