I'm using #curl to verify the status of my web services. However, curl does not support Minecraft Bedrock protocol, so I had to write that myself.

We need a new open source license that states explicitly that the code may not be used in any situation where it will cause harm to people.

Where would Google be if they had #curl, #ffmpeg and a thousand other libs taken away from them?

Do I see it right, #curl has no --only-write-to-output-file-once-the-whole-download-is-done-and-wasnt-interrupted?
Essentially: write to a temp file, once the download is done and no (curl-visible) errors happened, rename to final name?

Ubuntu Server 25.10 removes wget from its default installation, in favour of wcurl, a wrapper included with curl.

As you can see wttr has a very flexible manner of asking for weather, is opensource, has a lovely API and can be used in countless manners. For me the fact that I can call it up from bash (and any shell) is smooth nice and amazing

gives the followin output here

I love the power of curl combined with wttr.in

WTH? Debian Bookworm apparently doesn't include curl by default. That should be some sort of crime.
