If you want free speech on the internet you must own as much as possible your publishing supply chain.
But owning it all it's not possible, unless you own satellites, landlines and all the internet infrastructure. You'll have to trust some suppliers, but get ready to move away in no time: own your data, own your website, use free software in your workflows.
This also tells a lot which services we must vigilate upon. Violating the net neutrality is an attack to free speech.
I just received a concerning email from the OTF (@opentechfund.bsky.social) stating that a major source of their funding is in jeopardy.
