Another encounter with France's rarest bird of prey... The white-tailed eagle. After waiting for several hours in the freezing wind, I had the privilege of seeing this enormous eagle make several passes in the distance. The plumage indicates an immature, which supports several observations about the presence of a small family. This is very good news, as the species, which was hunted for a very long time, had practically disappeared from the French landscape. There are now fewer than a dozen pairs in the country.

Do you like for photographers to show both the edited and original version of their pictures, or do you only care about the final edited picture?
And for the comments, do you think that showing the original versions of edited pictures ruins the impression the edited picture first gave you? (like breaking the illusion of a super saturated, well lit etc picture)

I've been to Severn Beach near Bristol today. Used my belt/camera clip and it is very good, I found the camera, carried this way, is less cumbersome & easier than a neck strap. The promenade and the shore were swarming with these little creatures! They just flew into and onto you. Also, they were under foot as you walked. Fabulous October day otherwise.

'Lost CauseWay' 📷👍☹

Dense lighting and drizzle when I took this photo of a causeway, which is breaking up. Anchor Head, Weston-s-Mare, UK.

The elements are now remorselessly tearing away the fabric of this old causeway and it's highly unlikely to be be saved now. Yet it is so popular with people who walk down it to the water's edge. It is sometimes little things that make a place worth visiting; that when they disappear, often so do the visitors!
