Тело ниже бёдер трансформируется во что-то неопределённое, изгибающееся и заканчивающееся ещё двумя руками вместо ступней. Юноша-химера подвешена в пространстве, изображена на потёртом розовом фоне. Gaia unravels two ancient streams of stars in the Milky Way

The two streams, named Shakti and Shiva, helped form the infant Milky Way. Both are so ancient that they likely formed before even the oldest parts of our present-day galaxy’s spiral arms and disc.

I visited Chandragiri Hill while I was in Nepal, last year. At the summit of the hill stands a Hindu temple known as Bhaleshwor Mahadev (भालेश्वर महादेव), a sacred place dedicated to Lord Shiva. Shiva, one of the deities in the Hindu trinity known as the Trimurti, is recognized as The Destroyer. When I walked up to the temple, a priest asked if I wanted a blessing. He crushed a flower on the top of my head, said a prayer, and put a red dot on my forehead.
