Can someone suggest VBA and Python resources specifically for Excel?
I'm helping someone from the Windows world upskill. Her biggest technical skill is Excel, so we're staring with that.
I can point her towards a Byte of Python for starters, but it has nothing about Excel integration and I really want to cover that. Thanks, folks.

Apparently #Microsoft messed with the fonts in #Windows11 #VBA forms so now a bunch of the #Excel files I maintain at work have text that doesn't fit in the text boxes.
I decided long ago that Windows 11 will never be on my personal computers. I'm switching to #Linux and #LibreOffice.
@razze I disagree because #JavaScript violates basic security standards and should be, like #VBA #macros, #OOXML and #Windows-#Executeables be deemed inacceptable.
If in doubt, test your website with #LynxBrowser 1 2 over Iridium speeds (@ 2400 bit/s) and with #TorBrowser in it's strictest security settings (no #JS allowed!) and then tell me that's accessible, because in many #eReaders and applianced #BrailleScreens and #TTS devices you'll only have the output of #Lynx as #Browser and not everyone has even #2G speeds available.
Otherwise you may fall into the trap of "#EliteProjection" in that you assume that everyone has as good of an access to tech, broadband, #TechLiteracy and means to use them as we have them.
Which is my point of criticism all along!

I had previously whipped up an #Excel #VisualBasic for Applications (#VBA) Erlang B function to calculate #cellular tower quality of service (#QoS), so my other big project was modeling #Comcast Cellular’s network call capacity for an overdue upgrade from the (analog!) #1980s-era Advanced #Mobile Phone System (AMPS).

@Weirdaholic @kkarhan #VBA feels a bit like dying tech. Have you tried Office Scripts & Power Automate? Some really cool automation solutions are possible there 
The first part of this #VBA #Excel project (to automatically populate a spreadsheet with details of vehicles staff use and confirm they have tax and MOT (inspection)) was more straightforward than I expected..
(I nicked the JSON parser from a web, rather than roll my own)
I now just need to parse the dictionary it generates to warn of errors and (if data is good) populate an array (bearing in mind name/value pairs from DVLA can arrive in any order and total amount of them can vary)
