Biggest gravel bike ride I’ve done in a long time today (but the shortest of the big rides I have planned). After four hours on double-track rough gravel, my arms were about ready to fall off.

Does anyone have experience with suspension stems? Or is it just that I’ve got my tires (40mm) over-inflated?

(No, I didn’t ride the CT, especially not on this bike).

Mud pond road lived up to its name. It’s not really a road, well, class VI unmaintained road. Here the whole back wheel is sunk into mud up to the axle after crossing a little drainage stream.

Bike ride south of town yesterday. Some new (to me) roads, which is always nice. I followed an old railway track (turned into a gravel road) for a bit and then crossed Swedens longest canal and rode along the shoreline for a bit. Then back north to the city.
