@TheBreadmonkey I know you’re joking, but if we could just have ranked choice voting it would solve the problem of a bad choice winning over two good choices because the vote was split.
But the two corporate parties will never allow that. We recently tried in New Hampshire just for local votes, and just for municipalities who would like to do it, and the state still said no.

TLDR: If you hate a candidate *don't rank them at all*. Take "1st choice, 2nd choice, etc." at face value. You don't have to rank 5; you can just do 1 or 2 if you like.

Senate Bill 63 seeks to ban all Ranked Choice Voting in the state of Ohio. It has been passed through the Senate and will now head to the house.
As a home rule state, the state shouldn't be mandating how the people choose their representatives!

I know that the dems hate the idea of ranked choice voting because then independent parties have a chance, but this is exactly why we need #RCV

No on BM 2 (RCV) is only up by 45 votes today, but there are still 5800 votes to count. Tomorrow is the last day! #Alaska #RCV
Oh boy... Some folks in #Maine are rethinking #RCV already. It seems one of my Green Independent friends triggered RCV, which led to a Republican getting elected to a state senate seat. And #JaredGolden is about to face an RCV runoff as well, which could mean another Republican for the #USHouse. Ugh...
Also disappointed that Oregonians seem to have rejected the statewide #RankedChoiceVoting measure.
Once again Americans decide NOT to improve our current two-party system that we almost all agree is dumb and broken.
