Monday, July 21st, 10am-12pm.
Sunday, July 27th, 1pm-3pm.
Join in as we start on a new project of creating some beautiful and engaging #signage in the orchard. Together we will be working on sanding, painting and varnishing wooden signs to label each fruit tree in the orchard! Artistic skills are welcome but not required.

My final day at Kitty Pechersk in Kyiv was spent loading vital humanitarian aid: hygiene products, clothing, diapers, juice, blankets, and essentials destined for the community, providing a small piece of comfort to those in need.

Humanitarian organizations like Kitty Pechersk, and numerous others, are a lifeline for countless Ukrainians.

Sharing this post is a simple yet powerful way to show your solidarity with Ukraine.

Tonight, I'm at the Malden Warming Center with dedicated volunteers, providing warmth, shelter, and a little extra comfort (earplugs and sleep masks!) to our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Everyone deserves dignity and a good night's sleep, especially during these cold winter months.

Just got back from fruit sorting with some of the #LifeCyclesFruitTreeProject Friday morning team. There's different people doing ongoing fruits sorting every week, during harvest season. This fruit trees project is an important part of local #FoodSecurity. Fruits are distributed throughout the community & many go to other nonprofits, like the #MustardSeedFoodBank.

I met 3 people who are also from Vietnam today too. Julie & her daughter are from South Vietnam - they live in a rental here that's only 5 minutes from our home. Phanh is from North Vietnam & works on a farm in Metchosin. She's moving out to live on the farm soon, with her husband.

I also found out that River, the orchard coordinator, knows my good friend, Lyrica & her partner Talia too. They met at local Queer Crafternoon gatherings. Lyrica regularly attends those & River teaches some crafts at them. I'm going to attend some of them in near future as it's open to LGBTQ2S comrades & a few friends have invited me to go.
