Today's workout, a nice easy ski on the rail trail by the lake. 16°F at house, should be nice. I just hadn't accounted for the friggin' wind chill!!! Jeezum. Snow was icy too, 0 stars, not recommended.

I have been working closely w folks from NTU Earth Observatory of #Singapore for the last 5 years.
I finally visited them (and folks from 4 other climate research groups here) this past week, and I got to #bike their #RailTrail — really a wonderful ~10 mile respite (and expanding) right through the heart of town.

Their public bikes even have child carriers.

Pretty cool, but too short

For my birthday I rode the Northern Rail Trail today. Longest I’ve ever ridden is under 40 miles and this clocks in at 60, but it’s mostly flat, even a little downhill sometimes. Also had idea of going same number of miles as my age, but ran out of rail trail and didn’t feel like going a few extra miles through rainy streets just for that.
